Log Home Siding

In the last few years, as the price of full logs has gone up, we have seen a trend toward quarter & half log siding for which there are several advantages. Log siding does not require highly specialized building technique, consequently almost anyone can build with it. Its use also deals a final blow to the two single biggest problems associated with log homes: wind-driven rain and air leaks through the walls. This way you can have a fully insulated wall with a heavy log appearance. When our quarter log siding is combined with our log window and door trim, you cannot tell that your wall is not of solid logs.

We handle a variety of log siding in several sizes and thicknesses. Generally, the thicker the slab, the rounder and heavier the overall appearance. Some items are subject to availability.

QUARTER AND HALF LOG SIDING
A rough hewn surface looks more textured and old fashioned. Tongue & groove makes the best fit. All materials are KD.
