| In the last few years, as the price of full logs has gone up, we have seen a trend toward quarter & half lo g siding for which there are several advantages. Log siding does not require highly specialized building technique, consequently almost anyone can build with it. Its use also deals a final blow to the two single biggest problems associated with log homes: wind-driven rain and air leaks through the walls. This way you can have a fully insulated wall with a heavy log appearance. When our quarter log siding is combined with our log window and door trim, you cannot tell that your wall is not of solid logs. We handle a variety of log siding in several sizes and thicknesses. Generally, the thicker the slab, the rounder and heavier the overall appearance. Some items are subject to availability.
